A musical journey through the Americas
Singer Andra Borlo and guitarist Carlos Ramirez are on the road for a year as a duo, between San Francisco and Buenos Aires. Andra Borlo's sonorous and charismatic voice touches and moves. Carlos Ramirez supports her not only with his rhythmically versed and versatile guitar playing, but also with his warm voice. They play their own compositions in the genres of Soul, Blues and Latin music, as well as covers from the two Americas.
2008 they first met in Buenos Aires, the home of Carlos, while Andra recorded the CD "Pieces of Buenos Aires" there with local music stars. Since then the two have been performing in Argentina and Switzerland as a duo and in other formations. Besides the stage they share a life together with their 8-year old daughter. In February 2019 the new album "Universo" was released, on which the two can also be heard singing a duet. It's Andras third solo album. The songs range from the soul ballad "Blood Sister" to the ode to the capital of tango "Llora Buenos Aires". Passionate and authentic.

With her first record "New York Diary" (2006) Andra got signed with Universal Record Switzerland and became known as the singer with "the voice that sounds like honey on sand paper" (Berner Zeitung). Carlos Ramirez playes in various other projects like Carmatango, Anzucaribe or Trio Noir.
Un viaje musical por las Américas
La cantante Andra Borlo y el guitarrista Carlos Ramírez viajan durante un año como dúo entre San Francisco y Buenos Aires. La voz grave y carismática de Andra Borlo toca al publico en todo los sentidos. Carlos Ramírez brilla no sólo con su manera rítmica y versátil de tocar, sino también con su cálida voz.
El Duo presenta sus propias composiciones en los géneros de soul, blues y música latina, así como covers de las dos Américas.
Se conocieron en 2008 en Buenos Aires, la cuidad de Carlos. La cantante suiza grabó allí el CD "Pieces of Buenos Aires" con músicos argentinos destacados . Desde entonces los dos han estado juntos en el escenario como dúo y en otras formaciones como así también en la vida. En febrero de 2019 se lanzó el nuevo álbum "Universo", tercer disco solista de Andra. Las canciones van desde la balada Soul "Blood Sister" hasta la oda a la capital del tango "Llora Buenos Aires", como un abanico de sonidos y colores. Passionados y auténticos.
